The Heart of The Game

I saw this movie yesterday after noon, as an encore to the SIFF premier. As far as documentaries go, this one is amazing. It's an extremely low budget film about Roosevelt High School's (Seattle) girl's basketball team. I guarantee you that Ward Serrill had no idea the fortune that would be bestowed upon him when he decided to make a film about women's basketball. And considering that this is his first filem, it is absolutely amazing.
This film starts Wednesday on a limited release in Seattle and runs for (I believe) 10 days. If the film does well here it will spread to other cities. I sincerely recommend checking this movie out, whether you're a sports fan, or not (like me).
