Fandango has tickets for special Monday July 2nd evening showings of
Transformers playing in a few theaters around the NW!!

saw it again last night...was closer to the screen and able to study the intricate details a bit more...i never get tired of watching them transform...picked up the game too...which is also bad ass...

Cloverfield? Haven't heard of it. There was a really cool teaser for an unnamed JJ Abrahms project. Looked like it might be a Godzilla-esqe movie filmed in a home movie perspective, oh and the Simpsons!

Details are starting to come down. Looks like it might have something to do with Cthulhu.

I thought it was ok. Much more comedic than I was expecting. I enjoyed the action in the first half much more than the second. A couple things felt forced (the first of Prime's little speeches, the arrival of the Decepticons) and the ending was stupid as hell. Furthermore, just once I would have liked to have seen a robot just fall down without doing a fancy little pirouette in the process. Seemed like they were always spinning. Still, all in all it was fun. Better than I thought it would be initially, but I wouldn't see it again.

The preview they showed looked extremely weak and boring, but it is still pretty early. I just hope that the lame "Home movie" look isn't what he uses for the whole movie. That would give me a headache. Blair Witch part 6 anyone?

As far as the Transformers, I thought it kicked maximum ass! If it wasn't for the 300 pound loud mouth bitch behind me and my wife it would have been better. Very cool and something that has to be seen on the big screen to truly enjoy.

my cousin (who got all my hand me down toys) has still got my transformers, megatron and the tape player where the puma thing turned in to a tape(cant remember his name)
The dirty rotter still wont give em back lol, winds me up about every time i see him:D
