I just saw this Japanese film (w/o subs) and thought it was great. I don't even like ghost stories that much, but this is very well presented. Anyone got any more info on it, as I just got a dub?

Yes,this is a cool horror film. I bought the subtitled VSoM tape,and it looks decent-(unlike most of their tapes). Dick Smith did the special effects.

I had a first generation dub off (presumably) a Japanese pre-record, so it was pretty nice. I just didn't know anything about the story.

this one of those flicks I've always wanted to see but I just can't seem to find a source to get it from... and I'll be damned before I buy a tape from Video Search. To their credit, their home made subs are a pretty cool thing, but on the whole that company is such a scam.

I've also been looking for a subbed copy of Cure for a long time.

Latte, I have the official VCD release of Cure. It has both Chinese and English subs. Picture quality is pretty good for a VCD. I can copy this for you, if you like.

There is a legitimate Japanese DVD release available from CDjapan, but it is prohibitively expensive (at least for me). Somewhere in the range of the Wild Zero DVD (~$40-50).

Latte, if you've got an NTSC VHS player, I can make you a pretty good copy. It won't have subs, but you can at least see the movie. Trade?

I thought this was a great ghost story and I really liked the effects. Been awhile since I've watched it... gonna have to watch it again one of these days... thanks fer reminding me of it

I got it a while back but I haven't had the chance to sit down and watch it yet. I have a pile of movies I still have yet to check out. I'll get to it and let you know.
