I saw this movie a while ago, but lately I can't stop thinking about it. Not the pregnant Arnold movie, but the movie where these two chicks get out of prison and hide out from their pimp (who they beat up in the beginning of the movie after he rubs one of their faces in a pile of cocaine on the hood of his car - awesome) in a house they buy near a swamp.
But if only it were that easy! They may have escaped their pimp, but the babe hungry swampbillies inhabiting this place (including Junior and his absolutely frightening mother/skinny dude in white makeup and glasses) are hungry for sex! and blood!
I remember absolutely loving this when I rented it and watching it twice in the same night. Anybody else seen it? And does anyone possibly know anything about a dvd???

Pretty sleazy film from what I remember. Didn't one of the chicks wear PVC or leather hot pants for a lot of the movie? It's a Canadian movie from the mid 80s. Another one of those tax shelter financed flicks like The Pit was. As far as I know there was a VHS release in the 80s, and then It dropped out of sight. It wasn't even shown on Television in Canada. If I recall correctly it had a drooling psycho with a chainsaw on the VHS cover? There is a DVD out of a film called Junior. But that one is a slasher film from the Netherlands. They"re probably hasn't been a release of any kind since the 80s VHS. So if you have a copy,Fog, I say keep hold of it. The fan based DVD companies out there could do worse,and already have,than to give this one the proper DVD treatment.

In the 70s and 80s it was. Tax shelter financing died a while after the video boom of the 80s crashed. Now films are financed by foreign money or television like American independents are. Back then, you got 100% rebate on you're investment by the Canadian government. So investors didn't really give a fuck what kind of movie you made, or what was in it. Just so long as it was finished. They knew they could always make money.

Besides Cronenberg's early work like Shivers(They came from Within),Rabid,The Brood which MGM is releasing on DVD this Tuesday... There's Deathdream,Black Christmas,Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things,(co-production)The Ilsa films are almost all Canadian(first one shot in California)There's a great thriller called the Silent Partner with Elliot Gould. DeathLine which horror Icon Chas Balun really likes. Big Meat Eater which some like, but I hated. The Terminator ripoff The Vindicator was pretty good. Sunconscious Cruelty and Samhain are new ones. The latter film starring a bunch of porn stars and Mark Borchardt from American Movie. Oh Yeah, and The Scanner films. Those are just the ones off the top of my head.

My Juinior VHS sold for roughly $2 on e-bay, so I don't think it's in high demand just yet.
Yeah,Devon, but neither was Zombie 5: Killing Birds,The Other Hell or Black Zombies. But they still stuck those on DVD. And if companies and consumers will spend money on those questionable classics, they'll spend money on almost anything.

There was another Canadian thing that keeps popping into my head recently. This series of shot on video movies by some company.. My friend has two of them, The Highroller and the Edge, and they have all the same actors in them and everything, and there were previews for other ones starring the same actors.. Something with the word Blue in the title about a killer clown or something... I don't know.
Any idea what company I'm talkin about?(cause I don't have a clue)

I've never heard of Highroller and the Edge. But there's an awful Canadian TV movie called Blue Murder about a killer clown. I think then 20 year old John Candy was in it. Avoid that one.
