Didn't stop laughing from start to finish...

I loved his "signal" to let the team know if he was in trouble. I also loved the killer panthers... it really was alot of fun!!

Everyone likes this except Roger-Dodger. He complains that serious world events aren't being taken seriously. Or something like that.

Damn! And I was really looking forward to a cautionary docudrama from the creators of SOUTH PARK.

What the hell--it's our anniversary--we'll see it tonight anyway.

Ebert's final comment:

"They may be right that some of us are puppets, but they're wrong that all of us are fools, and dead wrong that it doesn't matter."

I'd like to know how he got that "it doesn't matter" out of the film. It's a fucking satire Roger.
"I don't want to be called an "artist." "Acting like an "artist" is synonymous to acting like an asshole."

Oh, it gets worse. How could I be so blind? How could I forget to check on my dearest, bestest critic-buddy Mick LaSalle???

We loved it. Just fucking loved it. I don't care what your politics are--you're going to get hit in the face with a pie (so to speak), and you'd just better have a sense of humor about it. (Oh, back to Roger--he remarks that the White House gets a pass in the movie? Ummm... I think the idea was that Team America WAS the representative of the President and his cabinet? Wouldn't having a Presidential stand-in have been just a bit redundant?)

Now, if you're committed, you know what you have to do. All right... let's go. AND.... begin!

I saw this last night and thought it was only okay. It has it's share of fucking hilarious scenes and music, but like most of their non-South Park stuff, I find that most of the humor is really stupid and the genuinely good parts are stuck in between long periods of not-so-funny shit.

The songs were great, even if they used that Montage song in an old episode of South Park (at least I think they did, I've heard it before).

Maybe I was a victim of the hype, but I was expecting a lot more from it. What I got was okay, though. I liked it.

It had its funny moments but, it didn't live up to my expectations. It's like they almost tried to make it a serious drama in the begining, then in the middle it got decent, and then it dropped of towards the end...... I expected more from the creators of South Park.

That was kind of the point. They were poking fun at action movies, and playing it straight for the most part. By playing it like it was serious, like it would have been if it was a live action movie, it was funny.
I have to return some videotapes.
