It was unsubbed when I saw it. I don't think it's as GOOD as Braindead, and maybe the bulk of the deaths weren't as over the top, but it had a HIGH body count. think the tally at the end was 140 something (they actually count it up on the film for you). I might buy it, but I tend to buy lots of German things I shouldn't. I would not pay for a dubbed version. If you like Ittenbach's other stuff, though, defintely check it out.
Every day I search for films with more gore than these two movies
but nothing compares.
PREMUTOS vs. BRAINDEAD ? hmmm
If my house was on fire and I could only save one of those DVDs it would
be PREMUTOS !
I'd probably let that shitty new cover design burn though
Nice thread I am 138.
I'm with Latte. I didn't even make it to the end of PREMUTOS. Infact, I think I turned it off during the finale. The effects were tedious, with little rhythm or style to them. I'd rather watch something with a small handful of well-executed gags than a whole bunch done poorly.
The dubbing is off and some of the scenes don't even have any sound effects so I hated the movie at first, then I watched the 20 minute ending scene with the original track and it was pretty good...if you're into really cheap tacky effects. Braindead still beats it in both quantity and quality gore.
PREMUTOS is for serious goreheads
like me who enjoy quality gore movies with alot of exploding heads,
chopped up legs, bodys cut in half, etcetera .
theres alot of quality gore effects in PREMUTOS . Olaf Ittenbach deserves respect for his efforts in this film!
Its like chris the Filthkeeper said

I am of the opinion that it was at least equal, if not greater in gore than Braindead.
