Earlier this year Anchor Bay released information that they will release the movie on DVD soon. It is listed http://www.anchorbayentertainment.com/i ... ntheFuture Due 2006

I suggest giving your boyfriend a raincheck on this gift.

If this movie is a "must", you have a few options;

- Scour ebay for a bootleg.

- If you have an all region player, look for an out of region DVD release (I'm pretty sure it's been released somewhere).

-Look around for one of the older Cemetery Man VHS tapes (Fox released it onto video mid 90's).
Damnit, Beavis, put that away. You're not supposed to have your penis out when you're cooking.

There are several foreign releases of the movie on DVD but none of the online shops I buy from have them in stock. Ebay has a few of them for bidding as well as some dvd-r's you can "but it now". As far as collectibles go I only know of the shirt made by Blackest Heart Media (now Rotten Cotton, maybe they still have it). Wasn't this movie inspired by a comic book or something? Maybe you can get that.

I think the comic was called Dylan Dog or something. Or maybe that's just another board member...But anyway, no point in getting a boot at this point. Raincheck the upcoming DVD, look for the comic, and maybe try some of the online poster shops?

He already has the DVD...he owns a cd & DVD store so he gets all that stuff early. He mentioned a snowglobe from the movie, so I want to get something along those lines. I saw the t-shirts...bleh. They have the american movie cover on it...if I were to get him a t-shirt I would want the Italian dvd cover art...mucho better.
Was also trying to find High Tension collectable stuff too...we loved that movie. The road head scene was our favorite.

Look for the comics. Or a Japanese one sheet! Those were awesome.

Might be more Haute Tension stuff available, as it's newer. May be the way to go.

This is my all time favorite movie so I've got a bunch of stuff from it. It was indeed inspired by the Dylan Dog comics which were released by Dark Horse (translated of course) a few years back. They should be pretty easy to find either on eBay or a comic shop.

I've probably still got about 6 pairs of the 3D glasses left from when October Films had the promotional website in 3D. LMK if you want one. I've also got the soundtrack and about 5 or 6 different posters, but none of that's for sale. :)

If there does exist a replica of the snow globe, LMK. I'd love to have one.

Anchor Bay was supposed to release this movie onto DVD last month, but from the info that I see above,it look like we'll all have to wait until next year for its official DVD release(and hang tightly onto our VHS cassettes of this very movie until it officially comes out on U.S. DVD).

Or sell your VHS now and receive more $ than selling after the US DVD is released.

Remember the URL for that one? Might be archived over at archive.org...

I have no idea what the URL was. I wish I did since I never actually got to see the site.
