Yeah, I saw this at last years Fantasia, and I thought it sucked. Bad jokes, bad story, bad acting in some parts, and rather short. The gore was ok from what I remember, but why go see it for just the gore. I think I do remember one or two funny parts. Anyway, I'd say skip it.
There is far better stuff out there like Grizzly Man A "documentary from German filmmaker Werner Herzog follows outdoorsman, wildlife preservationist and amateur grizzly bear enthusiast Timothy Treadwell. Treadwell spent 13 years protecting and mingling with the enormous bears in Alaska before being killed and partially devoured by a grizzly." I just hope u have a cinema were u live that shows it. The link I gave u has a clip of the film.

I haven't seen any of these, but I'm particularly intrigued to see GRIZZLY MAN. We know that the grizzly expert and his girlfriend were both mauled to death by a grizzly in real life.
But did you know that I went to high school with the girlfriend?
No joke--so you can imagine that I found the story (and the fact that Werner Herzog had made a film about them) rather startling...

Well its a rather odd story, and a rather odd character. Its always freaky when someone u know or have seen in life dies. In the doc Werner Herzog hears an audio tape of the two people getting mauled to death, after which he tells the owner of the tape to burn it. I would've liked to hear the tape myself, but in the end he is right not to use it in the doc.
I feel sad that Herzog doesn't make movies anymore, however GRIZZLY MAN is just as good as his film work.

Am actually looking foward to seeing Dead and Breakfast... did a few searches on it and it seems to be getting a favorable response... If it sucks though, can't say you didn't warn me...

I liked it...
We thought it was hit and miss... but overall enjoyed it. I feel odd about saying this about a splatter film, but I thought it was cute...
A bunch of friends are driving across country in a Winnie to attend the wedding of their friend. It gets late and they stop in Lovelock and spend the night in a B&B run by David Caridine. One of them happens to disturb a box that has some Kuman Thong spirit... he becomes possessed and most of the town as well. My favorite was the musical narration by the character of Randall Kieth Randall...
It's the kind of movie best enjoyed with a bowl and/or a few beers...

I'll admit this sort of grew on me as it went along. I too enjoyed RKR's hillbilly music, which gave the movie a sort of zombified 2,000 Maniacs feel. Until the hoe down scene, I thought it was pretty stupid though. In fact, much like many of those 80s horror spoofs like Saturday the 14th, Student Bodies, etc... ie, slow moving and not funny. But after that it really started to gain momentum and ended up being a pretty decent time. I wouldn't buy it, but definitely worth the rental.

Despite the Really Stoopid Jackie Chan-esque silly comedy,I still did thoroughly enjoy this film, since it contained some of the year's best on-screen gore---and Lots O' It(especially that Chainsaw-in-the-neck bit that definitely belongs in a future "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" film)!!!!
Yeah, that conutry singer/narrator is a bit reminscent of "There's Sometyhing About Mary",and the zombie musical number was real dopey, but how can you not like a movie that features David Carradine(who looks like he filmed this one after both "Kill Bill" s),his daughter Even(the blonde chick that pulls out the Bruce Campbell[without the slapstick physical assault on herself]routine near the end),the "Jeepers Creepers" chick(who is as badly cross-eyed as Brinke Stevens),and Anthony Perkin's Vince Vaughn looking son turning bad and using a decapitated head as a hand puppet, for my only complaint here is that Anchor Bay didn't release this film in my area(Las Vegas),where the audience would have really went wild if it would have played a theater down there(instead of those dull retreads "Chaos" and "Hellbent",which are both haunting Vegas theater screens as I"m typing this).
Otherwise,to "Dead And Breakfast": (as terrific a movie as "Undead")

Yeah, just saw this a few weeks ago, really, really loved it. Had some great moments in it. Love the line "this is just like being in a bad horror movie!"

I really enjoyed this
After receiving mixed reviews I watched this and really enjoyed it. Great quirky cast, some innovative and original ideas with some not so innovative ideas but overall this worked really well for me. I got a kick out of the musical narration even if its was a bit tiring at times it was still alright. Some nice cheesey gore and funny scenes in general, I recommend it. If you like comedy gore flicks you'll dig this.

I saw it a few weeks ago and I liked it. But then again I really enjoy comedy/horror films. It did remind me of a Troma type movie, which is what I like.
