They need to stop calling these PS2 action games Castlevania. Castlevania is a side scrolling action adventure, not a 3D hack and slash. If you want to play the REAL new Castlevania, you gotta pick up Dawn of Sorrow, for the Nintendo DS. That is what it is all about.

But I understand where you are coming from. Enjoy running around empty hallways and rooms that look the same over and over! ;)

Curse of Darkness is nothing more than a reworked version of Chaos Legion, which came out like 2 years ago. Go play that and tell me I am wrong.

You think I am giving you a hard time?! :D

It is for PS2. Go look it up. The similarities are obvious...

Don't mind me, I am a Castlevania purist, and where the side scrollers usually impress me, the 3d attempts have always come up short.

They usually do.What i mainly like about this game are the innocent devil creatures and that you can forge your own weapons.

Castlevania is a bit like Devil May Cry.

Yeah, they have music that is sort of similar, but not really.

Other than that, Castlevania is almost, but not quite, completely unlike Devil May Cry.

Yeah.DMC and Castlevania aren't one bit close to resembling one another at all.
