That's cool as hell, Remo. As long as I've been posting here, I think those are the first images I've seen of you.

In related news, WLVI here in Boston pulled a weird maneuver and brought back their Saturday afternoon Creature Double feature which went off the air in the mid-80's. This time they're adding a horror-host like your show. Figures, I have to work at noon when the festivities begin.

Right on Remo, keep it up. I really miss hosting horror TV, I did it for several years myself in rural Alaska :)

Thanks to all of you who responded--hope you got a chance to tune in!

Yeah--I've been reading up on the return of the Creature Double Feature--I understand this is a revival (of sorts) of the Ghoul character, only not as portrayed by Ron Sweed anymore. I'd be interested in seeing this.

And speaking of "interested in seeing?" Chris, do you have any of your episodes archived? Did you host as yourself or use a character, oughtn't you to be mentioned at http://www.horrorhosts.com, etc? Inquiring minds want to know...

I have 20 or so "episodes" on VHS and I hosted as myself with the exception of one episode where I was Mortado. In the next month or so I'll be getting a standalone DVD recorder and would be happy to burn off a copy or two. Since this show was in rural Alaska copyrights and the FCC weren't really a thought, I'd show movies like The Beyond in all their uncut glory thanks to people like Chas Balun who enabled us to get the goods back in the not so good old days of VHS :)

Man, I really wish I had taken a second to click those links. I've been a bit busy and saw the post, but with so little info, I just assumed it was another con or something that I couldn't attend, and surfed away without looking. I didn't even know that you hosted a show!

And to top it off, I couldn't be home to watch Creature Double Feature on Saturday either. :(

Thanks much for your interest--coulda sworn I'd hyped the show before and didn't want to keep spamming the board with it! HOWEVER...

...you may have missed the 100th episode (which will rerun in 13 weeks or so), but we've got #101 up this weekend... we're showing RAW FORCE with Cameron Mitchell, Jillian Kessner, Jewel Shepard, cannibal monks, martial arts, a bit of footage lifted from PIRANHA, and more eye-popping nudity than has ever been crammed into one of our offerings!

Friday and Saturday at 10PM Pacific
Saturday and Sunday at 5AM Pacific
Monterey cable channel 24 (AMP)
or on-line at http://www.ampmedia.org
Choose "Programs" and then "Live Stream" for Channel 24

Have fun,
Remo D.
