Roger Ebert in serious condition

You can go back and check all my posts for the past umpteen years and come up with all sorts of doozies I've levelled against the uber-critic--at least when it comes to the horror genre.

But I hope nobody ever thought that I wished genuine physical ill upon the man or that I ever dismissed his overall love for and exhaustive knowledge of the movies... and I hope nobody will mistake my sincere best wishes for sarcasm.

Says he's in stable condition now.

I've marvelled at how clueless he can seem sometimes, but the guy sure can write a review (from time to time) and I'd never want to see him silenced, let alone by a serious illness.
