New Slipknot - Today!

Post by Drew »

Am downloading it from Zune Marketplace ... will report my impressions after a spin or two. Anyone got/getting it today?

This was leaked quite some time ago and it's pretty effin' weak in my opinion...

Same 'ol hat... Nothing exciting about it whatsoever, but that's just me. :)

Actually yesterday Sir Drewsalot, but good enough :D

I got it on my way to the studio Yesterday, and I was impressed as hell. It's a great mix of old and new. I loved every bit of it.

After 1 full spin ... it has moments. Overall sounds better than the last CD. Need to chew on it some more ...

I personally think it's their best yet but that's just me! The production is killer!

I still prefer the writing on their debut and the production on Iowa.

I don't listen to Slipknot for anything groundbreaking and different anymore. They blew me away on their self-titled disc; now I just listen to them for good songs. They're not exactly reinventing the wheel here; just another decent metal record as far as I can tell.

I like Slipknot because I have never heard a band with so many members actually do so little

I have to say better than Vol 3, but not as good as Iowa.
