The Seattle scene hates me

Every time I come out to visit there are no good shows happening (based on my tastes and findings). There are plenty leading up to the time I arrive and immediately after I leave but for the entire time I'm in town (22nd-29th) there really isn't much happening. The same thing happened last year. One good jab in the side is the Supersuckers 20th Anniversary show with Zeke and Green River happening the night I return to WI. :whine:

That's all right though. Once I move back the scene will have no choice but to entertain me. It's either that or crumble under my presence. Surely it can't hide forever. :D

But seriously, other than stuffing our gullets with turkey what's going on that week? Oof and I have loose designs on punishing our livers while I'm in town. Anyone care to join us?

I'd love too but not only are their not any shows, my car has officially gone tits up and I'm having to be rescued just to make it to Gojira.

Christ, I hate being a damsel in distress! :swear:

Point is... I'd be there for some swillin' or grub if I had a way to get my butt there. Fuck. :(

But out here in Tacoma the music scene is flourishing more than it has in the years I have been here. Within walking distance of my studio we have 2 new music bars, Station 56 and another that has yet to open their doors, The Stone Gate, but when they do, I am sure it will be one of the nicest music venues out this way. I have not had the need to go to Seattle in long time to get my music needs met.

Maybe some of you Seattle folk need to drive a little South. Follow your nose... haha
