PS Red, I loved the Thief of Always..great book!
We had Clive, himself sign our Mister B Gone's and Hodge just recently gave me a signed, near mint, first edition hardback of Thief of Always that I totally freaked over! You know how hard that book is to find in hardback alone?!?! Haha Jesus!

I've read that story 5 times, (not counting my new comic) and am STILL waiting in the hopes that it will come out as an animated film, like it was supposed to.

Working on reading The Watchmen graphic novels, cuz everybody has told me to read it.

The His Dark Materials books are fucking sweet. Gotta love an anti christian children's book.
The Dark Tower is the greatest story ever written.

Turns out sex is messy. After good sex? Whew... all sorts of sticky funk goin' on. Girly fluids and cherry flavored love lube and spermicide and semen and saliva all over everything. It's like a rape kit exploded or something equally insane. Reeks like sweat and latex and lust. Damn, gettin' kinda turned on here.

You work too much. Frankie says, Relax. Now, I don't know who the hell Frankie is but I fully endorse his/her message.

Sylvia Plath's The Bell Jar
Marvel Comics Limited 1-5 Stephen King's The Stand

...and tonight I'm cracking open my brand new copy of John Updike's The Witches Of Eastwick. Great timing on my part to FINALLY read, btw. Being that it first came out in 1984, today while shopping for it, I dicovered it's sequal The Widows Of Eastwick is on the NEW RELEASE shelf! YEAY! :D

Chuck Liddell - My Fighting Life

He's not the greatest writer out there, but he tells a good story, most of which I already knew unfortunately.

How are those? I have the 'comic book' versions of the first 2 books that were released in the early 90s all painted artwork and everything. They were really cool and I always wondered about the books

On a related note:

King's work on Family Guy

Here is a description of the season finale of Family Guy:
Sunday, May 17
FAMILY GUY (9:00-9:30 PM ET/PT) – “Three Kings” – Season Finale

After Peter discovers the writing of Stephen King, he imagines his family and friends in three of King’s most famous works. First, Peter, Quagmire, Cleveland and Joe – as 12-year-olds – travel along a railroad track on a journey of self-discovery narrated by Richard Dreyfuss (guest-voicing as himself). Second, Brian is injured in a bad car crash only to be “rescued” by his “number one fan,” Stewie. Finally, Cleveland and Peter become fast friends in prison."
