My dream will come true if Zimmers Hole can actually cross the border to play this show.

My dream would come true if ZH could cross the border PERIOD.

I remember Cynic from high school, but never heard them until this year. I DID have Death's Human tape, that had two members from Cynic on it. Sean Reinert = awesome drummer.

Sean Reinert and Paul Masvidal of Cynic both played on Human (probably my favorite Death album). I always liked Cynic but they seemed to go a bit above my head for me to really get into them. I wonder if Chris Kringle will be playing bass for them. Years ago he worked at one of my favorite music stores in my area (long gone now). One minute I'm hassling him to lower his price on an Ibanez Soundgear bass and the next he's down in Florida playing in Cynic. Crazy world.

Sucks though that I won't be out there when this show hits. Seeing Meshuggah, Cynic and ZH all in the same night would be freakin' epic!

If I'm not mistaken, Gene Hoglan is a US citizen and can pretty much come and go as he damn well pleases. It's the 3+ Canuks in the band that are being prevented from penetrating America.

It's only Val that has problems getting through the border.

The rest have no problems. I mean, SYL has never had trouble with the border.

This is why I could not bring them down 8 years ago when I first discovered that ZH is the greatest band in the world.

Chris and I would do many trips up north to go see them.

So pack into a car and head north.

It's worth the time and the money. Plus, the can get away with much more in BC then the states. : )
