Hey there Seattle-area metal bands,

Flat Black Entertainment is putting together a weekly night of metal at Motor in SODO.
This will happen every Monday starting in April. If you're interested in being a part of this, please let us know.

I liked Motor a lot when I went there last weekend. The PA was honky but it was a cool room. Nice 24oz. cans of PBR too....

We actually did more than just rockabilly. We did blues, jazz, country, R&B, punk, and bluegrass.

We focused mostly on non-metal music at The Anchor because that's what was requested by the owners. It's the same thing that's being requested by the new owners as they've approached us about handling the music there again.

Don't shoot the messenger. :machine:

I won't be able to go to that show, BUT...

Get there early enough for Vs. The World.

They are one of my favorite bands and coolest people. Gabe (guitarist/singer) plays with more feeling and passion than any local musician I've ever seen here. Easily in my top three favorite frontmen...

And he plays a Xiphos now too.
Take a picture, trick. I'm on a boat, bitch.

How is that funny? Everett has about 5 metal venues and the Anchor was the only real Rock-A-billy place in the whole town.
Sounds like good busniess to me.

We need more bands...
We're looking for another band for the 4/27 bill, two more for the 5/4 and 5/11 bills.

All the other bills are completely wide open.

Thanks,
Dean

Hey folks...we've still got some shows cookin' @ Motor but we still need bands. I'm working on a lineup for 6/1. Hit me up if you're interested.
Also, at this point in time, all of the Monday shows are NO COVER!!! So, come on out and see some great bands for FREE!
1st Monday of each month is all-ages/bar w/id. Once summer break starts, we're probably going to make all of them all-ages.
