Photos: Queensryche in acoustic 4-4-09

Post by Chris Slack »

Queensryche did an acoustic set at a local record store yesterday to promote their new album. Here are a few pics from said set. Set list was as follows:

Sliver
If I Were King
Home Again w/ Emily Tate on vox (I think she is on the album as well)
Eyes Of A Stranger

The three new tracks didn't do much for me but "Eyes of a Stranger" sounded great. Although Tate changed a couple of the higher parts the song was as it should be. The PA got unplugged for a few seconds during the song and it seemed like Tate is a really quiet singer compared to some others I have heard. I was about 6 feet away from him so I would think it would have been louder. Kelly Gray ran the board for this set :)
