Former Weapon Within members in new project

Post by Paul - Static Bloom »

Hey all, I haven't been around much lately. I've been really busy being a dad, and stuck in my basement studying. I'm about 1/2 way through a 2 year program at Berklee online for audio production, and it's been really cool to learn about a new side of music. Anyway, I wanted to say hello, and to let anyone interested know that I'm a new project called "A Grand Scheme" with Clint on drums/vox, Justin from Byaxis on bass/vox, and a new friend named Heather on main vox. It's a heavy rock project that also strays into mainstream stuff. We're not sure just yet if we'll be doing any shows, but you can check the band out at http://www.myspace.com/agrandscheme and listen to a short clip from our upcoming EP (recording is still in progress). Also, I will have a small, but quality project studio up and running by the end of this summer. You can read a tad about it here: http://www.myspace.com/staticbloomstudio . I hope everyone is doing well, and I hope to make it out to some shows soon. :smoke: - paul

p.s. - Clint, Justin and I are also working on a a new band that'll be just the 3 of us. It'll probably be a bit heavier and maybe a bit eccentric. No name yet.

Cool thanks everyone. :) And Oof, were not really practicing regularly anymore. We might start up mondays in my home studio though. I think at this point, we just want to finish up the EP, and then get it out there and see what happens. I know that we're all pretty busy, so our plan is to work on product first, and then explore things a bit. - paul

If everyone just chilled out a bit and listened to some rock&roll with their titties out, the scene would be a happier healthier place to be. -Deathboy- 2/28/08
