Maryland Death fest photos
Day 1:
Just pictures taken around the area. We walked for a total of 10 miles today and ate a TON of killer Italian food with zero sleep. We got to hang out with a jet lagged Bolt Thrower as well. Still great dudes (I didn't see Jo Bench) after all these years. Must sleep after 36 hours without, tomorrow is the aquarium and day one of the festival. PS: I don't have a photo pass

Day 1 of the fest proper
Asphyx and Mayhem were killer on day 1 of the fest proper. Seems like all the best bands are staying at our hotel; Bolt Thrower, Napalm Death, Sigh, Destroyer 666, Asphyx, Brutal Truth, and more. The pool doesn't open until tomorrow or Monday though Mayhem photos (and a couple more) at my site
Day 2
Got up, ate breakfast, had a few bloody marys then went to the American Visionary Art Museum. Very cool place with a great exhibition called "The Marriage of Art, Science & Philosophy" Today with be great musically as well with Hail of Bullets, Brutal Truth, Immolation, Atheist, Napalm Death, Burdflesh, Pig Destroyer, Phobia, General Surgery and BOLT THROWER!!!

My ass was kicked by ass kicked by Bolt Thrower, Pig Destroyer, Immolation, Napalm Death, Athiest and Hail of Bullets. Other bands were good too! Photos on my site, link below. We went to the American Visionary Art Museum as well, good times.

back to Seattle and reality now.
Day 3:
Absu, Krallice, Aura Noir, D666, Bolt Thrower (playing again as Pestilence couldn't make it) and Sigh were the highlights of my day. Coincidentally I got more music photos this day than the rest combined. The fest was a hell of a lot of fun, we met a lot of cool people, saw some great bands, ate and drank very well and even got ourselves a little culture. Thanks to everyone who shared a beer or a bottle with us!
Photos here
Edit to add this: for those of you who don't know me I am the one with the shitty hockey beard behind the dude with the kitty t-shirt. I still think my cocker spaniel shirt was the truest shirt there.

I'll throw down some photos here so that I can attempt to pimp my review again which is located here. Sorry the photos are not up to my standards but with no photo pass, a pocket sized point and shoot camera and a lot of vodka they are the best I could do
