Just curious... What do you guys use to actually program the drum beats? Although writing the drum parts manually in staff view works well, it's time consuming. A traditional drum-machine type pattern editor that loops might be faster.

EZ Drummer all the way. It's so easy it's retarded. Staff view is horribly tedious; I only use it to edit existing parts.Adremelech wrote:Just curious... Yeah, I tried Miroslav's Philharmonic and holy SHIT, that takes up more space than anything else I've got. Good thing I just added a 200GB drive.Adremelech wrote:Just to warn ya though... it has a 40 GB sound library, and some patches are processor hungry, so make sure you've got the storage and the CPU muscle.
