The events center right next to Seahawks stadium. It sounds like shit in there. As usual the beer lines are stupid long, the beer is way overpriced and piss warm. But I'm going anyway. I'm a glutton for punishment.

Please. If only! Our two $64.00 Seattle tickets magically came to a grand total of: $ 92.70

TWENTY FUCKING EIGHT DOLLARS AND SEVENTY CENTS FOR CHARGES! I mean what the fucking fuck?!?!

This shit should be illegal. On the almost bonus side, out Portland tickets were through TicketsWest, so it was only $21.50 in fees.

Yes, GRRR! My worst nemesis when it comes to venues. I just fucking hate that place and have already managed to worry Gene by the news of the sound quality. To begin with...

With that said... I'm VERY, VERY EXCITED!!! YEAY!!!!

Dethklok again? Hmmm. . . very tempting. . .but what venue?

If I'm not in Texas for work I am definitely going.

Don't care for ShitMU theater. Saw Primus there. . . .fucking sucked what a way to ruin a band, I don't know why any band plays there.

Hey EvilMissy- Ever been to the venue in BC? Is it worth the trip?

I do have my passport. . . . . .

Not a Converge fan at all
High On Fire is pretty killer
Mastodon was a huge let down when I saw them
Dethklok is the most br00tal band evar

But 2 out of 4 bands for $90+ is pretty Ryan.

Is that what WaMu Theater is? The same place Unholy Alliance was held? Fuck! :chainsaw:

"Stupid long" is an understatement when describing the beer lines. I missed all but 3 songs of Lamb Of God due to that shit.

I do love Mastodon but unless I were to happen upon free tix I'm going to have to pass. That was one of the worst venues I've ever been too (ironically also the same place I last saw them).

And just what about that concrete box is a "theater"???

What's the Roseland like in Portland? It may be worth it to travel down there.

This IS totally Ryan.

All of those bands should be ashamed to charge THAT much to see thier gay little show. I mean that is a fuckload, this ain't the pope or queen of england here. I hope this tour fails miserably just to put those fuckers back in their place. I mean it's a good cartoon show, but I can't imagine spending $100 just to get into the fucking door. Jesus. Greedy. Kind of puts a bad taste in my mouth about the whole thing. Douches ain't worth it.

Actually I haven't been there yet, but I know of it and hear it's nice. Off the top of my head, I think it's comparable to The Paramount. Don't quote me for sure yet. It's 4AM and I don't feel like looking it up right now but I have no doubt the drive, extra money and border headaches will always be better that WAMU. Jesus. It's directly because of that place that I was so happy when the bank itself went under. Honestly, I'm surprised they haven't changed it's name since Chase took over the company. Cocksuckers.

In defense of my boys, it wasn't up to them nor did they know anything about the place. Like I said, I just told Gene and Bryan. Shitty for sure but I'm still catching them in both cities. $32.00 each as a strait charge is totally fine. It's the could-have-bought-a-third-ticket-with-fees (or fourth, in our case) that pisses me off.

OUCH! I didn't notice it was at the WaMu. I boycotted that place after the first sounds of the underground. Worst sound ever

The place is secondary to me. I personally think $32 is pushing it. They have 3 completely worthless bands opening for them, so basically it's $32 for one band. That's one person going. Add a person and all the fees, it's just not worth it. I know of 3 day festivals that are less expensive than this. It just sucks that everyone happily supports this total RAPE of the fans. Enjoy! Everyone buy a $30 T shirt too!

I know your stand on ticket prices and you'd be unhappy even if it was a lot less. On the flip side, I don't even need to actually pay for these tickets and just spent a fortune. By choice. haha

It'll be a blast regardless. :)

For reference, I got tickets for ACDC at the MGM Grand Arena in Vegas on the 3rd for $98 @ including fees. Unfortunately, the show was cancelled but my cheap-ass plane tickets are non-refundable, so I'm still going down. That's two shows I'm missing on the same day.
