Yeah, I've sorta forgotten that it's an all day event and I need to find set times. I don't want to be there all day either, but I do want to catch Hunab Ku. I haven't seen those guys yet.

I like the Faceless a lot. Some of their stuff reminds me of Sleep Terror (not sure if Luke would agree, but that's just my perception).

Terra Morta is a good band. Their guitar solos are done right, and I'm not a fan of solos.

Got my tickets, and will see you there...

Don't know that I can afford this right now. Which sucks because I'd LOVE to see Suffocation again (that's right, love and brutal death metal.. coexisting; it's a beautiful thing).

And I'd have to say that Hunab Ku are pretty damn good! I certainly wouldn't mind seeing them again but I don't think it's going to happen at this event.

I'm actually on Suffo's guest list, so in theory I should be able to hand over my paper ticket (just long enough for entry) if anyone wants...

Well for what it's worth, I'm haven't been motivated to see a lot of national shows the past few years. But every time Suffocation comes to town I force myself out. And each time, I'm very very glad I did. Their performances always blow me away. (Kinda like when Cephalic Carnage rolls in every year)

I ended up going. Got there after Gravenloch who I keep missing X-(. Watched Culling The Weak, got a migraine, walked down to Burger King with the lady and Terra Morta (mmm... Cupcake Shake). Got back in time for Vital Remains who completely crushed. Went outside during half of The Faceless' set to shoot the shit, came back in and sat down because I was bored. Got up for Suffocation, sat back down after a couple songs then left a song or two after that, they weren't as good as they were at Summer Slaughter.

Considering I got there at 4:30 and missed the one other band that I wanted to see (Hunab Ku) I had a pretty good time for being there all day with a ton of bands I didn't much give a shit about. I was shocked at the attendance level too! Christ, there were already a few hundred people when I came in only two hours after the show started and what really made my day was seeing a bunch of my friends. Espcially the ones that have been MIA for a while.

I'm also especially thankful to Terrance (Suffo) for yet again being such a nice guy by calling to make sure that myself and my friends were all put on the guest list. I'm sorry that no one took us up on our offer though. You guys definitly missed out. I am glad that Mot was able to make it down on my leftover ticket though. Good to see ya again!

Jodi, I haven't heard how you're feeling today, but I am relieved I didn't have to dish out a Suffo-cussion for you wearing those boots of yours again. I'm sure you're, for once, in minimal pain today because of that threat. Sorry toots, just looking out for ya as usual. Just with a different tactic this time. ;) :D

As for our new stalker... well... if ANYONE deserved to be flipped over the banister or pushed down the stairs, it'd be that creepy fuck. Definitly a Suffo-cussion candiate if I've ever seen one! I just wish he would have pushed a smidge harder after seeing JG puff up over his crap. That would have been a beautiful sight indeed! :D

And regarding Suffocation's playing, those guys crushed, plain and simple. Especially considering their rediculously shitty day! They just got back from touring Australia and were in Montreal, Canada at 4 AM yesterday morning to catch their flight, only to get to the airport to find their plane had been delayed by four hours. They then had to put up with a several hour layover in Dallas before finally arriving into Seatac at around 4:30 PM. Jesus. Even with a 12+ hour travel day, they were on top of their game and always as ever, very gracious. Myself, in a situation like that, I'd be more apt to bite out the first jugular that got in my way. haha
I think anyone that thinks otherwise of their playing should forgive them that due to the circumstances.
I just love those boys and will be of course, front and center for their January return.

It was good seeing all you kids. Lets do it again soon! ;)

Speaking of Suffo - here's their new video for "Cataclysmic Purification". If that isn't a classic death metal song title... :D

Try as Ms. Red did to accommodate me I wasn't able to get things together on my end to make it out for this. However, it's good to know they'll be back soon. Hopefully, they'll have less hectic travel arrangements then. There's no fun in having a shitty travel day only then to have to turn around and "be on" regardless of how worn out you are.

Thanks again for trying to help me out, Kristi.
