The most honorable way to die is to take a bullet for Chuck Norris. This amuses Chuck, because he is bulletproof.

RIP :(

Just in case anyone hasn't read it I am proud to host the final interview with the band (transcribed as I hate audio/video interviews) here

I made it half way thru the day without knowing the date. As soon as I asked one of my employees and they answered I grew silent. . . .He was a fine man and an awesome friend to all metal bands.

I am proud to have taken some amazing pics of NME and have him teach me the SMOzine.

Can't believe it's been 5 years. Still seems surreal, even only having known Kurt for a very short while, he was a great guy and awesome part of music in Seattle.

Agreed. I never met the man, but we talked through the Forums and he struck me as a class act. Peace to him and all who were close to him.

A memory that still makes me chuckle, hanging out with him at the bar in the Central one night, we got into the usual "I'm more metal than you" shit talking session. It lasted a long time, but when he lifted up his arm, grabbed a good 40 underarm hairs and pulled them all out in one yank and then thrust it in the air.... the win.
Take a picture, trick. I'm on a boat, bitch.
