So I read somewhere that America will probably never see the light of day to this much antiicipated sequel. This does not stop us on getting our grimey, filthy hands on a copy when it hits DVD.. at least R2.

My question is.. Where the hell can I view a trailer for this flick? I've tried many a site and they all send me to the same dead link. Anybody know?

No sign of a working trailer here either.
I'm not too optimistic, though.
The reviews i've read have been less than motherfucking-crazy-as-hell-about-this-shit...

(Spoiler-alert!)

I don't know if the links on this site are working, but it's better than nothing.

I'm reserving judgement until I actually see it, but I've seen some reviews that express more disappointment than disgust... and I think that's worse than a bad review. The first movie was so good. It rides high on my list of favorite movies. This one doesn't sound so great, as if it's missing all the chemistry and relevance that the original had.

Was it me or did that only seem like half a trailer?

I read over the reviews and found the first one to be really pretentious. The second was acceptable, I do agree with you. I have very high regard for the first film and it will be difficult to top with a sequel. That being said, I'm also going to leave a little sympathy open for the director since it is sort of a dedication to his father. No matter what the film (except maybe a handful) the sequel is never better than the first.

I will be optimisitc, I have been looking forward to this sequel for sometime now and I'm not going to let some fanboy site screw it up for me.

it's got Riki Takeuchi, too! How bad can it be?

Subbed region-free bootleg out now, not sure when exactly the R3 DVDs are out or what will be on them. I ordered one of these simply because I had money in my paypal acct and needed to do something with it :)

Nicely put together for a bootleg. I must confess the temptation to get it is wearing me down.
