Nothing new to contribute here, save for the fact that I finally saw it.
Sorry--it's a "consensus" deal... Charlize Theron is every bit as amazing as you've heard, and the film really is that good (though unpleasant as hell, as you might well imagine).
Did NOT know that Bruce Dern was in it.
Sure as HELL didn't know that Kane Hodder was in it (briefly, near the end, and he did the stunt coordination, as well).
Excellent film, all told.
