agreed. i got's to have "the return" also. i remember the first time i heard it i was reminded of a pissed off wasps nest. haunting vocals on that one also. IMO their finest work.
i would have to add to my list :
~obituary~ "slowly we rot"
~possessed~ "7 churches"
~cannibal corpse~ "butchered at birth"

I don't know what would be the definate answer to this question. Possible contenders are:

Iron Maiden/The Number Of The Beast
Dio/Holy Diver
Blind Guardian/A Night At The Opera
Demons & Wizards/Demons & Wizards
Vintersorg/Cosmic Genesis
Emperor/Anthems To The Welkin At Dusk

Chances are its Blind Guardian/A Night At The Opera, since I played the ever living fuck out of it from its release date til several months afterward. I literally played it once every day.

I have a few required bands/albums that have to be in my car at all times:

Tool "Aenima"
MTF and I'm not just saying that ;)
Second Coming "13"-which I have to replace now cuz it skips
NOFX
Outkast
Eminem I can't help it-he's goddamn hilarious, and the bass sounds good
No Doubt (shutup-I'm a girl, I can listen to Gwen if I want :p )
