Napolean Dynamite

Post by Kimberly »

Kinda reminded me of Welcome to the Dollhouse but not as mean spirited and alot funnier. Napolean is a kid who lives with his grandmother and 31 year old brother. His grandmother gets into an ATV accident and while she's in the hospital their Uncle Rico comes to live with them.

His friend Pedro I thought totally steals the movie.

I really liked this one...

I have been dying to see this movie ever since I saw the "skills" bit in the trailer. It opens everywhere this friday. Can't wait.

This is probably one of the funniest movies I've seen this year. The more I think about it, the funnier it becomes. I think I need to see it again to be sure.

I love the girl in it... what's her name? She was the cute little girl in Corrina, Corrina....

Anyway, I'd recommend this one to anybody.

I caught this one this afternoon and I have to admit, it wasn't what I was expecting. What I thought was coming was a quotable indie cult flick like Clerks but this wasn't even close.

My wife and I were completely baffled. We left the theater quietly and didn't talk about it much after that. An hour later, it dawned on us, that what we'd just seen was, indeed, extremely funny.

It also boasts the best and funniest dance scene I've seen since so many movies seem to have them these days.

EXACTLY. The following day it really hit me how hilarious this movie actually is.

I loved this film... Wish it got a wider release. It was supposed to last week with an additional few minutes of bonus footage but I don't see it anywhere.

I got to see this at an art-house theatre and had the privalage of recieving a "VOTE FOR PEDRO" and "VOTE FOR SUMMER" set of pins.

I love the part where Kip goes to the Rex Kwon Do class and gets up to do the deminstration and does the weakest leg sweep ever.

I saw this one yesterday and agree it was great. That leg sweep was awesome, but nothing can beat Uncle Rico's videos!

Those were pretty much the worst videos I've ever seen. :)

They would make a great animated avatar though. Almost as good as this classic.
