This is one of my favorite movies... I'm going to assume you watched the Miramax version... it's cut and the subtitles have been changed to be dumbed down for American audiences...
I still would like to know since when did "all under heaven" become "our land"...
This movie is amazing... if you enjoyed this you will also probably enjoy the same directors newest film House of Flying Daggers. While it's not as good as Hero, it's just as enjoyable. It also stars the young lady who played Moon in Hero...
