aka "Dead of Night" in the States. Gotta admit that this one did a lot for me. It's one of those vids you seen in every store but don't give a second thought to because it just looks like another one of those crappy straight-to-video turkeys. And frankly, I would have never bothered with it myself except for my habit of putting everything on my net rental queue. Although it wasn't remarkably original, it had plenty of likable characters and strong performances, as well as a unique setting for a slasher film. There were some aspects I didn't like such as an overly extravagant ending but all in all, a very fine rental and a genuine sleeper, imo.

Oh, and you comic fans will note that the UK poster was done by Dave McKean.

Dave McKean must be a friend of one of those people, as I can't see him doing the art for something he didn't like. Anyway I'll be sure to keep an eye out for this one.
