Kitamura's ALIVE

Post by ROBERT » Sat Sep 14, 2002 12:09 am

Saw this too. It's not a wall to wall action film like his previous film Versus, so don't expect it. It's pretty slow in it's first 50 minutes or so, but picks up quickly after that. It's about two criminals that become unwilling guinea pigs in a secret experiment in a high tech facility. It has to do with UFOs,secret military factions, possession by an alien called the displacer and it's connection to a trapped girl. Alive builds to a satisfying display of pyrotechnics and mayhem.(not much gore, though)and is well shot on High Definition Video.
