No sir, I didn't like it...

While it had its moments, the movie could of been sooooo much better.

I grew tired of EVERY attack/fight scene... because of the Saving Private Ryan'esque shakey camera bullshit... couldn't see jack.

I'm very disappointed that I left my friends early to catch a late showing of this...

What a waste of half my night...

I suspected it wasn't going to be that great.. Though I admit I'm curious. Perhaps this is why it's only playing at select theatres at midnight.

I liked Feast. I thought it was pretty fun and made pretty well. I personally liked it more than Evil Aliens.

Evil Aliens is a hellafun movie...

Feast had a moment or two... otherwise it was way overboard on that shakey camera.

A friend of mine often describes the degree of badness in bad movies in terms of suicide. He described this one to me as making him want to go into an empty apartment in a rundown tenement and hang himself.

I think I'll steer clear of it.

What!?!?!

It is not that bad. It is definately not great but I think it would be worth checking out.

I just picked up the Unrated DVD. Personally, I thought this movie was pretty kick ass!

I didn't think the camera shaking was very bad in this at all. Nothing like The Cavern or even The Descent. I thought the pacing was perfect, the gore was very good (even an ode to Fulci!! :dsmoke: ) and some of the events unpredictable. The way they introduced the characters was cool and stylish. Different than anything I've seen.

When it comes to horror movies, everyone has thier like and dislikes so, obvously it depends on exactly what you like in a horror movie. This is the kind of movie I like. It's right there with a lot of my other favorites (that others tend not to like). House of 1,000 corpses, The Descent, Hostel, Texas Chainsaw 2, House of Wax, Demons, and many more. To me, this is to monster horror what HOTC was to crazy backwood hicks! I've watched Feast 2 times in 2 days and could watch it again.

Just my opinion. :)

Edit: Latte Thuner, dude, why would you ever steer clear of a movie based on your friends opinion? Watch this movie! If you dont like it, fine but, I've always thought that basing your opinion on someone elses opinion is a bit downscale for anyone who consideres themeselves a horror fan. Right? (for the record, you are beyond outside intervention). Seriously, watch it and I'd really like to hear what you think first hand!

Not too bad at all, I have to agree that there was a bit too much of the shakycam though.

Agree with all on the shakycam, just too much. Otherwise, I thought it was good fun, though nothing we haven't seen before. It had a nice sense of humor and I honestly had no clue who would live or die.I especially liked the Henry Rollins character. So stupid, but I like how the guy was just trying to deal with the situation the only way he knew how. I also liked it better than Evil Aliens, fwiw. It's definitely worth seeing, imo.

Yes I am inclined to agree I will admit the whole eyeball thing was cool, however, I couldn't see shit either and they didn't explain things very well I mean it was ok so there are these creatures we don't know how they got here or where they come from but they wanna kill people no plot I should say .
A bomber if ever I saw one

that drifting plot line is part of the reason i liked it so much. it's not really a storyline, but more of a piece of horror that just sorta floats through your head for a moment.

It had some killer gore but I agree about the camera stuff. It had some great humour in it. Good entertainment.
