Queensryche did an acoustic set at a local record store yesterday to promote their new album. Here are a few pics from said set. Set list was as follows:
Sliver
If I Were King
Home Again w/ Emily Tate on vox (I think she is on the album as well)
Eyes Of A Stranger
The three new tracks didn't do much for me but "Eyes of a Stranger" sounded great. Although Tate changed a couple of the higher parts the song was as it should be. The PA got unplugged for a few seconds during the song and it seemed like Tate is a really quiet singer compared to some others I have heard. I was about 6 feet away from him so I would think it would have been louder. Kelly Gray ran the board for this set
Michael Wilton, Scott Rockenfield and Jason Ames
Emily and Geoff Tate
Eddie Jackson on 12 string
Almost everyone
Eddie Jackson and Parker Lundgren (new guitarist)
