I met Patrick Swayze about 14 years ago when I was taking flying lessons. He apparently owned a house somewhere up here in Bellingham, and would rent a plane from the same place I took lessons. I walked in the building as he was walking out... I, without hesitating said "Holy Shit... Patrick Swayze!". He smiled and said "Glad to meet you". We shook hands, had about 30 seconds of small talk, and then we each went on our ways.
It was less than a minute, but he was very cool. RIP!
