It has come to my realization that i have no fucking idea whatever in carmen sandiago's world happened to Effluvia!? Where the fuck have those guys been, i mean they never really were a frequent event or anything but man, this area sucks for goregrind. I mean theres... well im sure there is at least 1 band here in seattle that...well no i guess Effluvia was it. Miss that shit.

you know, i've been thinkin about this.
why is it that we don't have more goregrind / grindcore in our area?
if you travel just a few hours south, there is gore galore! but we are sadly lacking around the greater seattle metropolitain area. sure we have alot of good heavy metal. a plethora of popular metal. a scattering of kick ass death metal and a strong circle of black metal. but our gore and grindcore scene is either hidden below the underground or simply non existant.
why do you suppose this is?

It' becoming processed cheese whiz food. It's been done to death metal...
It's the same dirt processed and re-processed over and over and over and over.
It just doesn't make sense to keep re-inventing grindcore death thrash puke shit down your throat decapitation violent yeast filled puss sack garbage.
It the same bull shit regrind coffee ground slobber no class immature teenage para diddle jack off in a closet pot head 12 year old stupid shit.
No experience necessary.Growl gutturally into a mic with high pitched background shreaking by the bass player.Mindless drums. No musical sense.
It really is just a growing experience.
It's very embarrassing.

Its the weather. Cold makes doom, not grind. Of course that logic fails when it comes to portland, i think its because...no one into the shit lives here. Excluding the 10 of us (who all know each other) who sit on message boards complaining about how we dont have a 10 man goregrind band:metal:

What's lacking is drummers willing to play it.

But we could set up 10 guitarists and vocalists on stage like the Gipsy Kings and gore grind with no drummer. That would be sick... and a first.

I say 8 guitars and me and chris will do vocals!

see, now we're talkin!
but, i have a solution to the drummer problem. muc mentioned that he would love to do some programing on the drum machine, and create some buzzsaw guitar riffs for some industrial grind. but we can make a spectacle out of it!

the perfect drummer would probably be Ben of Scourge Schematic (sp), I 've seen him play over the years and I think he has the style that would best fit.

have any of you heard these guys yet?

Grandma

they're not breakin any molds or pushin the envelope or anything like that, but there is something about them. they have the perfect goregrind sound to me. kind of like catasexual urge motivation. (the greatest goregrind band in the history of music in my opinion!)

by dying to see
I'd be down to do all the drums for this :D I fuck'n love gore grind man!

no but i have now! thats pretty good shit. C.U.M. is pretty awsome but i would go as far as greatest goregrind band, i mean i got into em for a while pretty good but i think heamorrage is one of the best bands, but its really hard to nail down a favorite...but i will say the newest gruesome stuff relish album is fucking pretty savage. And the new general surgery is pretty much the epitome of goregrind. Only newer sounding...
