$5 joint cover
WHAT: N.U.D.E. (North University District Experiment)
WHEN: Saturday, August 29th
WHERE: Blue Moon, Monkey Pub, Cafe Racer, Galway Arms
WHEN: 5 p.m. - bars close (and whatever happens after)
WHY: In which seemingly every neighborhood has at least one festival of rock & roll madness for the masses, the University District is often left out. N.U.D.E. is subtle attempt to rectify the situation. Despite not being known as one of the city's musical meccas, establishments such as the Blue Moon, the Monkey Pub, and the Galway Arms have been offering up-and-coming bands a chance to get their foot in the door. (Take a look at the Polaroids at the Monkey Pub to get an idea.) The venues remain loved (or loathed) by many of their alumni. N.U.D.E. will feature everything from established artists such as Sub Pop's Kinski retaking the stage at the Monkey Pub and lesser known acts rowdying up their favorite neighborhood drinking holes.

You two are fucking high. It sounds like a great idea but I have been to great jams that the Rainbow held every Tuesday in the late 90,s. Skerik, Matt Chamberlain, members of Screeming Trees ,Pearl Jam and Mudhoney. Let's not forget the King Of Funk Mourice.
Have a great show and most importantly, have fun.

I'm guessing this is why the naked bicycle riders were out this afternoon.
Twitter... because texting whilst driving isn't dangerous enough...
"Almost ran over a bicyclist because he didn't stop at the stop sign, idiot."
"Oops, ran over a bicyclist while writing that last twit."
