While not up there as such Miike films like Fudoh or Ichi... it was much better then the last two crapfests that I watched by him.

Not great but good...

I've got it on my queue. I just think it's funny that the two examples of good Miike films you cite, are two of my least favorites...! LOL I'm not sure when/if it's coming out, but I think you'll like Zebraman more than the stuff you've seen lately. Not perfect, but it's definitely got that Miike craziness working for it....

I think Fudoh is my favorite because it was my first exposure to Miike (and in a theater to boot... was a double feature with the 60's Japanese film Hell)... so it prolly is why I have a soft spot for it...

Ichi is badass imo...

Fudoh was also my first Miike movie. I bought the Media Blasters tape back in 1999. I still think it's great. It's a pretty good introduction to the insanity that is Takashi Miike.
